PC Revamp was established in 2011 by Paul Browne — a lifelong tinkerer who couldn't stand watching friends get ripped off by high-street chains. What started as a one-man bench in a shared unit has grown into York's go-to repair shop, but the philosophy hasn't changed an inch.

We're a family-run team of five, working out of our Badger Hill workshop just off the A64. Between us we've got over 50 years of combined experience across IT support, computer and laptop repair, phone and tablet repair, games console repair, and gadget work. If it has a screen, a battery, or a circuit board, we can probably fix it.

Our prices sit toward the competitive end of the market — but we'd rather be known for the service. Repeat customers who've been coming back for over a decade aren't coming for the cheapest quote. They're coming because we're straight with them, we explain the problem in English, and we don't upsell.

OEM & Service-Pack Parts Only

No cheap copies, no "works well enough". We use manufacturer originals or OEM-spec parts so your device performs the way it should after the repair.

12-Month Warranty

Every repair is backed. 90 days on workmanship as standard, up to 12 months on parts. Something goes wrong, bring it back. Simple.

Honest, Up-Front Prices

No quote creep, no "oh by the way". You see the price before we open the device. If we find something else, we call first.

Real People, Not a Call Centre

You'll speak to the person who fixes your device. No tier-2 escalations, no scripts. Just walk in and ask.
